Light: This tropical plant prefers bright, indirect light. Too little light will cause stunted growth, while too much direct sunlight can burn the plant’s delicate leaves.
Water: This plant prefers a regular watering schedule. You don’t want your soil to become completely dried out, nor do you want it to be overly saturated. This plant is not drought-tolerant, so while you want the top of the soil to dry out slightly between waterings but you don’t want it to be completely dry.
Temperature: This plant prefers temperatures that are warm, ranging from around 65 to 85 °F (18 to 29 °C). Make sure your indoor temperatures drop no lower than 60 °F (15.5 °C).
Humidity: This plant prefers a spot with plenty of humidity. Misting the leaves of the plant twice a week with room temperature water can help maintain adequate moisture levels. Additionally, placing this plant in a room that is naturally more humid. For best results, place your calathea white stripe in the kitchen or bathroom
